The movie «Thinking Silence» - is one of the pages of the All-Russian project «Movie Lessons in Russian Schools», which was included in the initiatives of the federal project «New School». The movie takes viewers to the difficult days of the Leningrad blockade, telling about the fates of children who managed to preserve their humanity in conditions of extreme need and danger. It reveals an important spiritual and moral value - sensitivity, shows how in the most difficult times a person can remain human.

On Wednesday, December 22, the annual international seminar from the series «Electronic Technologies - an Instrumentarium for Artistic Practice» took place at the Russian Institute for the History of Arts. The seminar was held remotely via video conference using Zoom technology. This year, two topics were considered in the context of the seminar's theme:

electronic audio technologies in the system of professional education of a musician
prospects of artificial intelligence in the artistic sphere and cognitive processes.

The reports contained reflections on the evolution of artistic tools and the values created with their help. A more complex, multi-faceted interpretation of the problematic of the issue under consideration was demonstrated, related to the emergence of electronic technologies as a powerful creative palette in the practice of contemporary art and the professional art education sector.
The system of relationships between the artist and elements of artificial intelligence in the artistic and educational environment was considered both from an academic standpoint and from the standpoint of a modern interdisciplinary approach.

The host and main speaker is Maxim Karpets, composer, PhD in art history, senior research scientist, department of organology, Russian Institute for the History of Arts. The seminar was attended by invited guests, specialists in various fields: composers, musicologists, middle and high-level educational workers, physicists, directors, theatre experts, programmers, producers.

«Instrumentarium for creating virtual values: semantics of musical art as a palette for perception of aspects of time»

The film "ERA" was created within the framework of the All-Russian project "Film lessons in Russian schools", which was included in the number of initiatives of the "New School" project of the "United Russia" political party. The premiere of the film took place in two stages on April 12 in St. Petersburg as part of the events dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics and the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. The presentation of the film took place in the Presidential Library as part of the traditional conference in honor of the Day of Cosmonautics.

The second volume for the collection of scientific articles «COMPARATIVE ART STUDY – XXI CENTURY. ISS. II» was published at the publishing house of the Russian Institute for the History of Arts of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The readers are presented with the second issue of this research series devoted to the issues of comparative art history. В On Monday, December 26, the traditional annual international seminar — round table from the series «Electronic technologies — instrumentarium for artistic practice» took place in the White Hall of the Russian Institute for the History of Arts of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The seminar was held in a mixed format using Zoom video conferencing technology. This year the topic of the seminar:

As part of the project, scores of chamber and symphonic music will be published. Initially, it is planned to place the scores of all Dmitry Shostakovich quartets performed by the British string quartet Fitzwilliam Quartet, as well as selected opuses of an anthology of chamber music for string quartet over the past three centuries. In video mode, the score of each composition is broadcast in real time.
